Rocky Mountain Academic is Denver’s national academic basketball program and the only team in the Rockies competing in the Hoop Group Academic League @hoopgroup_academic.
Coming off a 29–5 season, undefeated in Colorado, and a Top 10 national finish in the Hoop Group Academic League, RMA returns to compete against elite academic programs across the country during NCAA Live recruiting periods and the national championship.
This is not local exposure.
This is national visibility.
We are seeking serious, college-bound athletes who want to be recruited by Division I, Division II and Division III colleges and universities that value performance on the court and in the classroom.

We have partnered with Harvey Rubin, President of Academic Basketball, LLC, to bring a high academic showcase to the Rockies in September. We will also partner with Harvey to travel players from the Rockies to High Academic Showcases in 2025 hosted at Babson College, East Strausburgh University and Seal Beach. Together, we will work to put our high academic basketball players on the map with these schools.
